Description

The Phantom Detective #170 Audiobook
Murder’s Agent
by Robert Wallace
Read by Kalinda Little

The Phantom Detective! The name alone conjures up action and adventure. From the same publisher that brought you The Black Bat, Captain Danger, The Crimson Mask and The Green Ghost came one of pulpdom's best-known detectives. Scourge of the underworld, The Phantom, as he was called, aided the Law with his sweetheart Muriel Havens. His first adventure was published in February 1933 and they continued for 170 thrilling exploits until the Summer 1953 issue. The Phantom Detective returns in these vintage pulp tales, reissued for today’s listeners

Murder's Agent was originally published in the Summer, 1953 The Phantom Detective magazine and is read by Kalinda Little.

Kalinda Little is a voice actor with roots in local radio and theatre. After assisting with plays in conjunction with the Southern Oregon University theatre department and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival she has moved into recording and editing audiobooks. To date she has recorded over 35 stories in a variety of genres, as well as over a hundred hours of free audio for charities and fundraising purposes, including projects as large as supporting the rebuilding of Puerto Rico, and more humble projects like pledging for her local radio station.

She has performed such memorable characters as The Domino Lady, Page Whiskey of the Whiskey Witches, Lady Action, The Phantom Detective and more.

Her love of the written word and the narrative story form have motivated her in becoming a chapter leader of the Nine Bridges Writers. There she attempts to hone her craft, figure out where all the commas are supposed to go, and experiments with various ways of tormenting her characters.

Both her debut novel and a growling list of audiobooks coming soon.
