5 of 5 A much more innocent period of time.......... May 19, 2022

Little Orphan Annie is an American icon on the order of Shirley Temple, Mickey Mouse and Snow White, all being extremely popular at the time.

The Radio Archives staff continues in their great restoration projects of vintage radio shows from the Golden Age of Radio.  This early radio program has been restored back to the original sound and tonal quality that would have been the case when the show initially aired on radio in the late 1930's and early 1940's.

The explanation above regarding the decoders that were issued during the late 1930's and early 1940's is most interesting and very well explained with images of the actual decoders in color.  One really needs a decoder to fully enjoy the show.
The cover artwork of Little Orphan Annie is very well executed by the artistic staff creating these images for Radio Archives.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My grandkids are loving these episodes the sound quality is excellent.
I made up the supplied 1936 decoder for them. Too bad the 1938 decoder isn't available
