5 of 5 Raymond Chandler's Los Angeles May 25, 2022
Reviewer: Richard McLeod from RIVERSIDE, CA United States
Raymond Chandler accurately describes 1930's and 40's Southern California. Anyone familiar with Los Angeles, Hollywood and other nearby cities and towns, the landmarks, streets, even bars nightclubs and restaurants, will add to the realism of the stories created in his writing and the Radio adaptations. Each story always ends on a memorable philosophical thought. The sound quality is exceptional and unique to the CD's sold by Radio Archives. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

5 of 5 Hard-Boiled Detective Work At its Best January 7, 2021
Reviewer: Bruce Toews from Winnipeg, MB Canada
Radio Archives never disappoints with the quality of its work. The restorations of Philip Marlow are no exception. Right from the beginning you notice the work that has been done. On most circulating recordings, there is considerable microphone popping in the Ps and Ts of the opening monolog. Radio Archives has managed to filter these out for the most part, while not making the recording tinny and artificial-sounding, as is the case with so many companies' efforts at this sort of thing. Long Live Radio Archives.

5 of 5 Unbelievable Quality June 1, 2020
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Ammerndorf, BY Germany
I have some good remasters of Philip Marlowe from “the other guys” which are very good. But the quality of Radio Archives frankly blows them away! And the fact that they are mono remasters is more evidence of their high-quality. Every detail put into the original studio recordings is brought out in amazing crystal clear sharpness! A great pleasure to listen to. Thanks for your dedication and work. I’ll be back!
