5 of 5 A Rare Glimpse Into the Past May 20, 2022
Reviewer: Nick Limansky
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and Radio Archives for all the wonderful work you do. I have really been enjoying the Big Show episodes, not to mention the Lum and Abner and the Fu Manchu and others. The recordings are wonderfully restored and I love having the original commercials as they were. You really feel as if you are being afforded a rare glimpse into the past.

5 of 5 Greatest Performers of the Century........ May 20, 2022
Reviewer: Richard McLeod from RIVERSIDE, CA United States
With Tallulah Bankhead as Hostess and the tremendous Musical talent of Meredith Willson ("The Music Man" is only one of his later Broadway Musicals), how can a Variety Show go wrong?  I could talk about each episode specifically, but the ones with Groucho Marx, Martha Raye and Jimmy Durante are some of the funniest sequences ever on Radio (or Television) past or present.  This list of guests could go on and on, but once you hear one of these Episodes of "The Big Show", you will definitely want the entire series.  This Variety Show was certainly titled appropriately, as truly it was The Big Show!

5 of 5 Tallulah Rules The Airwaves...and how! May 20, 2022
Reviewer: Dave Campbell from Red Bluff, CA United States
NBC's last gasp for radio dominance was a thrill for those of us willing to give up 90 minutes of our lives to hear a program that featured, on a single show, the likes of Tallulah Bankhead, Charles Boyer, Martin and Lewis, Groucho Marx, Clifton Webb, Judy Garland--each week new stars were broadcast "into your parlor," and the variety of drama, music and comedy was hugely entertaining--which was the point!  These transcription have amazing life-life fidelity and Radio Archives should be congratulated for providing a quality product and brightening posterity more than a little.
