Richard Wentworth's life is about to literary come exploding down all around him. As Nita is recovering from the surgery that will restore her abiity to walk, Wentworth thinks he's secure in his new, fortitied fortress home on the waterfront in New York City. Alas, he receives a warning from a dying man who literally explodes right in front of him; but, not before warning him that his home has been mined. A new villian is on the loose - The Butcher - and he knows that Wentworth is The Spider and he wants The Spider dead. Thinking Wentworth dead, Nita strikes out on her own and assumes the mantle of The Black Widow, a vieled vigilantie who seeks to clear her lover's name and administer her own brand of justice. Nick Santa Maria once again does an outstanding job bringing the adventure of The Spider to life. Great Fun! Highly Recommended!
