5 of 5 Well-calculated tales December 25, 2023

There's not much you can say about "radio's outstanding theatre of thrills" except a) it remains one of radio drama's gold standards and 2) grabbing it at a sale price is a sweet, sweet deal.

5 of 5 One of Radio's most popular shows...... May 25, 2022
Reviewer: Richard McLeod from RIVERSIDE, CA United States
Volume 3 has one of the most famous stories in Radio History, Lucille Fletcher's "The Hitch Hiker" and starring Orson Welles.  That alone is reason enough to purchase this set.

With music often conducted by the noted Bernard Herrman (of "Psycho" fame), many stories by John Dickson Carr and Lucille Fletcher, among many other writers, any of the Volumes offered by Radio Archives is a treasure unto itself.  William Spier produced this Radio Show, which is definitely one of the best remembered Shows from the Golden Age of Radio.  Once you buy one of these Volumes you will buy another.

"Suspense" ran for many, many years and if I remember correctly, over 900 shows were produced in total with "The Hitch Hiker" and "Sorry, Wrong Number" (starring Agnes Moorehead is in another Volume) being two of the best known shows during the Golden Age of Radio.
