I can always count on the restoration quality provided by Radio Archives. I was playing this at work with my co-workers listening in and they were very impressed.

I highly recommend Radio Archives as thee #1 source of Old Time Radio.

5 of 5 Suspense sounds better than ever! May 24, 2022
Reviewer: Kevin Sinnott
Suspense sounds better than ever. For years, I've been seeking definitive copies of this show, which so much effort went into. The sound effects, music (much by Bernard Herrmann) and the stories all were heavily sound-dependent. Many of the dubs out there are lackluster, some worse on CD than LP. the latest masterings from Radio Archives are stellar in every way. It's a pleasure to listen to them, some episodes for the first time. All seem new thanks to the sound. Thanks also, for being judicious regarding the click and pop removal. There's a reassuring slight noise of the needle in the groove that I, at least, consider an important reminded that no content has been removed in order to make them sound digitally recorded. Kudos for your judgment.

5 of 5 Radio's Most Famous Episodes........ May 24, 2022
Reviewer: Richard McLeod from RIVERSIDE, CA United States
Volume 2 has one of the most famous stories in Radio History, Lucille Fletcher's "Sorry, Wrong Number", starring Agnes Moorehead.  That alone is reason enough to purchase this set. This particular episode was so popular, she performed this 30 minute episode 7 or 8 times over the years.  Miriam Hopkins also performed "Sorry, Wrong Number" for Australian LUX Radio in the rarely heard 1 hour version.

With music often conducted by the noted Bernard Hermann, many stories by John Dickson Carr and Lucille Fletcher, among many other writers, any of the Volumes offered by Radio Archives is a treasure. William Spier produced this Radio Show, which is one of the best remembered Shows from the Golden Age of Radio.

"Suspense" ran for many, many years and if I remember correctly, over 900 shows were produced in total with "Sorry, Wrong Number" and "The Hitch Hiker" (starring Orson Welles is in another Volume) being two of the best known shows during the Golden Age of Radio.
