I feel fortunate that I latched on to a group that loves old network shows like I do.

5 of 5 Please can we have some more? May 24, 2022
Reviewer: Julian Jones from Melbourne, Australia
Thank you for the wonderful restorations of all three volumes of Dragnet. This has to be one of the best radio serials ever devised. Dragnet captures the working days of detectives like no other has. The working shifts that run far too long. The fractured leisure time and social life. The lousy meals more often than not eaten on the run. An ungrateful and often hostile citizenry and of course the unending procession of desperados and criminals. Through it all Joe Friday, Ben Romero, Ed Backstrand and all the other detectives shine through in their understated way as group of tight knit professionals matter of factly doing their job. Please can we have some more?

5 of 5 Jack Webb's Dragnet - Vol 3 May 24, 2022
Reviewer: Gerald Bertel from Florissant, MO United States
Volume 3 of Dragnet celebrates the first year anniversity of this realistic cop drama. These are true stories of police officers solving crimes in Los Angeles. While each story unfolds, you get a glimpse of the private lives of Sgt. Joe Friday and his fellow police officers. Jack Webb protrays Joe Friday with a low keyed approach who is methodical in examining the evidence of each case and alway polite and caring of the victims and witnessses in each case. Sgt Friday works each case a member of a team with one goal in mind - get the criminal off the streets. Jack Webb is great in this role as is the supporting case of great radio actors.

5 of 5 Catching Up Is Fun To Do! February 28, 2013
Reviewer: John Doyle from Hoschton, GA United States
As a youngster, I never missed Dragnet on television, but I -completely- missed it on radio!

What a kick it is to find these great collections of Friday and friends in wonderfully fresh sound.  Many thanks!
