Description

The Adventures of Robin Hood

Richard GreeneRichard Greene stars as the dashing Robin Hood and Patricia Driscoll plays his true love Maid Marian in "The Adventures of Robin Hood", an action-packed series produced in England in the 1950s. While good King Richard was gone to the Crusades, Robin and his Merry Men made Sherwood Forest their home, protecting the good people of England from the scheming Prince John and his cohort, the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham. Its high adventure at its very best, as Robin and his band of outlaws bring you six of their best outings:

Bride for an Outlaw
Robin Hood becomes entangled in secret love letters to a local merchant's daughter and gets Robin in a mess of trouble.

The Dream
Sir William Fitzwalt enlists Robin's help under the guise of traveling to Austria to rescue King Richard. Maid Marian has a dream, which leads her to believe that Sir William is plotting evil.

Women's War
Lady Ann de Brissac is rescued by Robin's men while being chased by the Sheriff's men in Sherwood Forest.

The Jongleur
With the help of Robin Hood's men, a band of local musicians manage to foil the Sheriff's plan to collect new taxes on the citizens of Nottingham - but a turn of events put the Jongleur in harm's way.

The Vandals
Robin Hood is framed by Baron Hubert of vandalizing homes and killing a young citizen of Nottingham.

Blackmail
Prince John, accompanied by his retinue of nobles, knights, and men at arms, plans to visit Nottingham. During his visit, the citizens are required by the sheriff to provide food and drink -- or face the consequences.
