The Full-Length Feature Novel

Dragon Lord of the Underworld

by Norvell W. Page writing as Grant Stockbridge

The first grim rumors startled the nation. A man — ironically terming himself Emperor of Vermin — had, through his organization of the Underworld, made himself actual Master of America! Hardened criminals, vicious thugs, white and yellow alike, trembled at the mere mention of his name, shuddered and meekly obeyed his commands. For Ssu Hsi Tze was a genius of destruction, and his weapons of doom, new and ghastly, chilled even the bravest criminals into abject submission. Only Richard Wentworth grasped the full significance of the cunning Oriental’s aims. And when, as the Spider — hart-hitting champion of the weak and oppressed — he carried his desperate counter-attack into the monster’s fortress, he was caught in a diabolical trap... He must sacrifice his best friend and his beloved Nita in an order to live up to his own strict code!

Juggler’s Holiday — An Ed Race Story

by Emile C. Tepperman

Ed Race, gun-juggler supreme, liked to help his friends out of tight places... But sometimes it led him into a squeeze in which only six-gun magic could save his neck!

Death’s Fingerprints — An Allen Foster Story

by Wyatt Blassingame

Allen Foster, publicity-loving master dick, talked himself into a murder trap and a prison block... And it took sly recklessness and a nod from the gods to get him out again!

The Web — A Department

by Inspector Leslie T. White

More smart anti-crime methods for loyal Spiders!

4 of 5 Fun! April 8, 2022

For some reason, the Spider's oriental villains were among the most memorable and this one's no exception. This guys modus operandi is quite gruesome! It goes without saying the villains in these things go to great, often ludicrous lengths to keep the police busy while they robbed banks, and his are beyond disgusting and horrible! POSSIBLE SPOILER--STOP! Also, this issue marks the demise of a recurring character.
