In the Blood Audiobook
by Nancy A. Collins
Read by Julie Hoverson

In the Blood, by award-winning author Nancy A. Collins, tells the story of a punk female vampire/vampire-hunter who teams up with a psychic detective to track down the man responsible for turning her into one of the undead.

Vampire and vampire-hunter Sonja Blue is back, taking out her rage on the demonic blood-drinkers who hide among the living. But her hunt is attracting attention: Morgan, the monster who remade her twenty years ago, wants to bring his beloved daughter to heel, and Sonja has found her existence entwined with that of a mortal man. Part of her wants to love him, but when dealing with monsters such as she, where does love end and slavery begin? The answer is in the blood.

Nancy A. Collins is the award-winning author of numerous urban fantasy, multi-genre, and Southern Gothic tales, as well as several graphic novels. Julie Hoverson is a woman of mystery.  And science fiction.  And sometimes romance ... all through books she's narrated.  Julie is a renaissance woman in the classic sense - in addition to her renfaire costumes, she knows a little bit about many things, which means her sound editors get to edit out a lot of ranting about writers who don't do their research.  Julie came to audiobook narration by way of audio dramas, and the podcast anthology series she wrote and produced, and often starred in, 19 Nocturne Boulevard, won several awards in its over 80 episode run.
